The Association provides insurance on the common areas, framework and exterior of the buildings. The homeowner is responsible for insurance covering from the dry wall in, plus windows, doors, attached fixtures and appliances. Based on estimated rebuilding costs you should obtain a minimum of $150,000 in Dwelling coverage plus personal property and liability insurance. For more details, please see our Important Insurance Information PDF file.
All vehicles parked in the PVHA lots are required to display a PVHA Parking Tag and be registered with Management. Send an email to mail@parkwoodvillage.org with the make, model, color and license plate number for your vehicle(s); or, call 608-284-9676 to provide the vehicle information. For those who enjoy gardening, homeowners are allowed to garden in the existing beds near their homes. Homeowners are not allowed to remove any trees or shrubs, or expand any planting areas, without Board approval. Many homeowners also volunteer their time to help maintain other common areas. It is because of their hard work that the grounds come alive during the spring and summer when the flower gardens are filled with color and greenery. Specific details regarding gardening and landscaping can be found in the Rules & Regulations.
PVHA Owners must reside in their home for two years before renting. See the Rules and Regulations for complete details on rentals.
