Parkwood Village is a
professionally managed condominium association consisting of
96 homes located on the west side of Madison, Wisconsin.
Only minutes from shopping, restaurants, transportation, and
schools, Parkwood Village (PVHA) is nestled among mature
trees, beautifully maintained landscaping, and well groomed
lawns and gardens. The homes were originally built in
1971-72 and established as a condominium association in
1981. The Association is contained within eighteen
buildings, each home having a single car garage and a
private patio.
The residents of
Parkwood Village Homeowners Association are comprised of
young and retired professionals, students, business
men/woman, government, medical, and educational personnel,
and children. Together they have all helped to build
an outstanding community where lasting friendships are made.
Located directly north of the PVHA community is a city
bike/walking path and the Mineral Point Park with an
abundance of wildlife. To the east, and
within walking distance, are several family-friendly
restaurants offering something for everyone. Shopping, the WestTowne
Mall, a pharmacy, gas station, and bowling alley await you
to the south/southwest; and, the Memorial High School tennis
courts border the community to the west where you can watch
practices and matches. A metro bus stop is located only a
few steps away if you're in need of transportation
throughout the city. Onsite amenities include a pool,
a community room, a designated picnic area, and a
child-friendly playground. PVHA is also a pet friendly
community. There is a limit of two pets allowed per
household; two dogs, two cats, or one of each. Some
restrictions do apply.
If you would like to be more active in the community, there
are volunteer committees who would welcome your help.
And, it's a great way to make new friends.
Parkwood Village Homeowners Association is so much more than
condominiums. It's a community where friendships
begin.
